From Humble Beginnings to Global Impact: The Stiltz Story

The theme of this year's National Entrepreneur Day in the USA is Celebrating Innovation and Resilience. When it comes to entrepreneurship, Stiltz has an inspiring story!

Fourteen years ago, our co-founder Lachlan Faulkner and his best mate left Australia with little more than a suitcase, a lift to sell, and big dreams. Landing in the UK, they set up in Reading, sharing a room with bunk beds to keep their costs low whilst they worked tirelessly to make their vision a reality.

Their determination and innovation caught the attention of Mike Lord, our Group CEO and a fellow entrepreneur, who saw their potential and decided to invest. Together, they built what is now an international business employing over 400 people worldwide.  

Today, Stiltz are proud to help people stay in their homes, a mission that reflects the resilience and heart of our founders. From a small room in Reading to a global enterprise, our journey is a testament to the power of community, perseverance, and entrepreneurship. We continue to push the boundaries in the market, challenging ourselves to continually enhance our product.
